FAQs: Glamp Michigan

Where are the you located?

Glamp Michigan’s two geodesic domes and two ÖÖD mirror houses are located in Benzonia, Michigan, on a private forest on 13 acres. Glamp Michigan is miles from Crystal Mountain and surrounded by natural beauty, from Sleeping Bear Dunes to Arcadia Bluffs.

Is there food service on-site?

There is no food or drink on-site, but both domes have a full kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. It also has an outdoor grill. There are delicious restaurants, distilleries, breweries, and wineries in the area.

Is the sauna electric or wood-fired?

We have both. Aurora’s six person barrel sauna is electric. It also has an Ice Barrel 500 cold plunge. Instructions for operating the sauna are posted on the unit.

Loyly’s sauna is wood-fired, along with an Ice Barrel 300 cold plunge.

Is there a host on-site?

No, our private campground offers self-check-in and check-out. You will receive your automatic door code through your booking platform. However, you can contact us anytime through your booking App.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed at Glamp Michigan. We want to ensure that none of our guests are affected by allergies. We love our furry friends and hope you understand. Since we’re in a forest all seasons, pets would a big challenge for cleanliness.

Do you have firewood?

Yes, we have complimentary firewood for guests. All our getaways are equipped with smokeless fire pits. There’s comfortable seating for four adults at the domes and two adults at the mirror houses.

Are children allowed?

Yes, children are allowed at Glamp Michigan. This isn’t the venue to throw a massive party. It’s a place to connect to nature and the people you love. All of our guests agree to be respectful to one another and this beautiful property.

What is glamping?

Glamping is ‘glamorous camping.’ It includes several structures, from mirror houses to geodesic domes. To us, the magic of glamping is connecting with nature and the people you love, surrounded by surprising comforts.

Is there laundry on-site?

Yes and no. The Domes have a washer and dryer. The mirror houses do not have a washer and dryer.
